Turbo City is a fast-paced arcade driving and delivery simulator where players race against time, fuel and chaotic traffic to complete increasingly complex delivery challenges. Designed as a modern nod to Crazy Taxi with layered systems, it blends tight driving mechanics, resource management and a hidden narrative twist. The game was structured to be highly replayable, modular and progression-driven, appealing both to casual pick-up-and-play sessions and players chasing mastery

  • Created the accept → drive → deliver → upgrade cycle that balances time-pressure with resource survival.
  • Designed arcade-style physics for drift, boost, and exaggerated collisions to keep controls fun and accessible.
  • Built district unlocks, star ratings, upgrades, and car progression to maintain long-term engagement.
  • Designed fuel and damage mechanics to force mid-route decision-making and tension.
  • Created escalating challenges: traffic jams, nighttime visibility, environmental hazards and final conspiracy twist.
  • Wrote the customer rating/review system to inject charm, humor and feedback into each delivery

Game Narrative

You play as Alex “Axle” Rivera, a rookie driver for QuickBite, the fastest delivery service in Turbo City. At first, it’s all high-speed runs and dodging traffic in a city that never slows down until you start noticing things that don’t add up.

Drivers are going missing, shady routes lead to restricted zones and rumors of corporate cover-ups grow louder. Then one final delivery comes in an order that could expose the truth behind Turbo City’s entire Delivery Network…
